The GE portfolio offers an extensive range of HV power connectors for substations. Several other types of connectors not mentioned are available, or can be specifically designed.
The test results and field experience demonstrate that the GE design criteria provides the best performance for connectors applications up to and over 800 kV, both for AC and DC applications.
GE’s connectors have been supplied to many customers worldwide and thanks to our consolidated experience, after more than 40 years no corrosion nor over-heating issues have been reported.
