That’s why our Multilin 8 Series family (excluding the 859 motor protection relay) of relays and our 350 feeder protection relay can be equipped with four integrated arc flash sensors (loop or spot) to detect and squelch arc energy. These devices can be paired up with other relays, such as the UR B90 bus protection system, to further improve the ability to reduce arc flash energy and allow for lighter levels of protective clothing for facility workers.
