MIW II - Legacy Directional Power Protection System

The MIW II, a member of the M II Family of Relays, is a digital device that provides directional power and loss of field protection for generators. Operation of the MIW II is based on the calculated direction of 3 phase power flow. The MIW II can be ordered with either one of the following two option packages:
- Four protection elements for directional power
- Three protection elements for directional power, one loss of field element, and one fuse failure element

- 6 LED indicators with 4 configurable in function and in color
- Front RS232 and rear RS485 ports using ModBus® RTU protocol up to 19,200 bps
