The new MDS Orbit X is the newest iteration of the Orbit platform, specifically designed for 5G/LTE performance. It enhances network security with an on board Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for hardware based “root of trust”, along with a new Zone-Based Firewall. The Orbit X-MR model, featuring 5G/LTE, is footprint-compatible with the Orbit MCR, enabling a seamless upgrade to 5G readiness.
