Overview

Electrification's Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drive Systems (VSDS) feature a unique combination of Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) or Load Commuted Inverter (LCI) and an electrical motor. They are suitable for most applications.

Our very low speed, high torque solution for petrochemical applications features a VSI combined with a low-speed synchronous motors (8 poles and above).

For reciprocating compressor applications, we recommend the use of VSI over LCI as it allows a low level of torque pulsation and motor compactness.
