Philippe Piron is CEO of GE Vernova’s Electrification and Electrification businesses, which provide products and services required for the transmission, distribution, conversion, storage, and orchestration of electricity from point of generation to point of consumption. Philippe has more than 25 years’ experience developing and transforming high-tech and industrial companies with a global footprint and has been deeply involved in the fields of Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Marine, Telecoms and Digital. He joined GE in November 2020 as president & CEO of GE Electrification.

Vera Silva is the Chief Strategy and Technology Officer of GE Vernova’s Electrification Systems, a multi-billion global business segment that includes Electrification, Electrification and Storage Systems. In this role, she leads the innovation, technology and business strategy and commercial development. Prior to her role at GE Vernova, Vera Silva was R&D director and senior engineer at Electricité de France (EDF). Preceding EDF she was a research associate in Imperial College London and assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal.

Claudia is the Chief Technology Officer, Grid Automation at GE Vernova, where she leads the vision and strategy for AI/ML empowered grid technologies. In this role, she is focused on advancing innovation across digital substations, grid intelligence, automation services, and cybersecurity— enabling utilities & industries to modernize their infrastructure, increase grid resilience, and accelerate the energy transition.

Akanksha Bhat is a Senior Global Product Manager at GE Vernova’s Grid Automation business, where she leads the strategy for Advanced Automation Solutions that support grid modernization and the energy transition. Her work supports utilities and critical industries in integrating DERs, improving grid reliability, and deploying next-generation automation solutions that enable faster, smarter, and more resilient grid operations. Earlier in her career, Akanksha contributed to national clean energy initiatives at the U.S.
