In 2019, Groupe E, a major power utility in Switzerland, contracted GE Vernova for the delivery of seven GL312g g³ live tank circuit breakers for the renovation of their Planchamps substation in the Neuchâtel region. In line with their sustainability targets, Groupe E is one of the first power distribution operators in Europe to select GE Vernova’s GL312g circuit breakers using g³ insulating and switching gas instead of SF₆.

São Paulo, BRAZIL and Paris, FRANCE December 1, 2022 - GE Vernova Renewable Energy’s Electrification Services team used digital X-ray technology – guided by the same principle utilized in the healthcare industry – to complement the preventive maintenance in Petrobras’ gas insulated substation (GIS), in the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST), state of Pernambuco (Brazil).

• GE Vernova Renewable Energy’s Electrification and BOND Civil & Utility Construction awarded contract for on- and offshore high voltage equipment, including an onshore substation that will connect the 816-MW wind power project, integrating renewable energy to the New York Power Grid
