Alan Swade is the Commercial Leader for North America Power Transmission business at GE Vernova’s Electrification setting commercial and business development strategies that support customers to modernize and expand their electrical networks with innovative products, including power transformers, air and gas insulated switchgear, power quality products and services. He joined GE Vernova in 1997 (former GE) as a Sales Account Manager for the Industrial Systems Solutions business selling Power Delivery and Drive Automation engineering services. He worked in the Midwest Region as a Six Sigma Black Belt before taking the P&L role of Engineering Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Engineering Services business. In 2005, Alan joined GE Water & Process Technologies as to lead Global Field Services, and then the Capacitor business. He added responsibility for the Shreveport Network Transformer business and moved into a General Manager role with the Electrification business, leading the Reactive Power Compensation activities. Alan Swade holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University (USA) and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy (USA).
