As part of our GRiDEA™ portfolio, the GL309c–GL312c range is designed to accelerate grid decarbonization. Using the CO2-O2 insulation and switching medium instead of SF6 gas, it enables a reduction in carbon footprint over the entire product life cycle compared to equivalent SF6 solutions while ensuring same performance and footprint. This 145 kV SF6-free live tank circuit breaker was developed for temperature down -50 °C in frame of our “Repolarise” project, co-funded by the French State as part of France 2030, operated by ADEME.

Versatile Design & Seamless Integration Specifically designed for outdoor installation, this range covers rated voltages of 72.5 kV, 100 kV, 123 kV, and 145 kV. Featuring the same dimensions as our traditional SF6 portfolio, these breakers allow for easy, drop-in replacement, ensuring that transportation, handling, and onsite installation remain as streamlined as existing infrastructure. 

Digital-Native Performance 

The GL309c–GL312c range can be fully digital-native, integrating the CSD100 point-on-wave controller.

  • Factory-Integrated Reliability: The CSD100 is tested during production to minimize onsite commissioning activities and ensure consistent performance.
  • Advanced Monitoring: Beyond switching, the CSD100 provides essential health monitoring, including advanced tracking of the CO2-O2 interrupting medium.
  • Precision Switching: By combining the CSD100 with our CO2-O2 technology and FK mechanical drive, these breakers enable smooth shunt reactor switching, effectively eliminating the risk of multiple high-frequency re-ignitions.
